HOLDERNESS — Squam Lakes Natural Science Center celebrates migration season on Saturday, Sept. 17 from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Fall is a season of transition and many animals are on the move to wintering grounds. Up Close to Animals presentations throughout the day will feature migratory raptors. Learn about where raptors species in the area go each winter, how long it takes them to get there, and why they bother to return.
