BRISTOL — The 32nd Annual New Hampshire Marathon was held on Oct. 4 and featured 864 registered runners — a new record for the race which benefits Mayhew Program, Circle Program for Girls and the Tapply-Thompson Community Center.

Runners came from 43 states, Washington D.C., and five different countries, including England, Peru, and Israel. The field of participants spanned from 6 to 79 years old.

Despite the very warm weather, the women’s marathon saw a new course record set. Natalie Hattan, 25, from North Sandwich, crossed the finish line with a time of 3:05:56, officially breaking the previous female record of 3:06:08 set in 2022.

The kid’s marathon included 59 participants from 4 to 13 years old — completed their final mile on race day, after running 25.2 miles over the course of the summer.

Next year’s race will be held on Monday, Oct. 5. For more information, visit nhmarathon.com.
