MOULTONBOROUGH — It is tax time again. The library has 1040 forms and instruction booklets and 1099 forms in stock. If you need additional forms, you can print them out using the public computers or your own device. The library will host their AART Tax Aide Volunteers again this year. Appointments will be on Tuesdays, and will run from Feb. 8 – April 5. The first two weeks (Feb. 8 & 15) are open now for people to sign up. Go to the website to find the calendar link where you can register. The other weeks will open sometime after Feb. 8, giving the volunteers a chance to see how the scheduling goes. Remember, if you make an appointment, you need to come to the library to pick up the packet of materials that must be completed before your appointment. Also, AARP requires everyone to wear a mask. All AARP volunteers are fully vaccinated.

The library has a brand new catalog that allows you to browse specific collections, check out titles from OverDrive/Libby and Hoopla with one click, and see all your account information in one place. If you want to learn more about all the new features, drop in on Mondays at 2 p.m. or Wednesday's at 9:30 a.m.

Not sure what Hoopla is? It is a streaming media platform that allows simultaneous use of all titles. Join the Technology Class on Tuesday, Feb. 1 at 10 a.m. Register for this class so the library can plan accordingly. This class will also be repeated on Tuesday, Feb. 15 at 2 p.m.

Another upcoming adult program is Thursday Movie Night on Feb. 1 at 6 p.m. Bring a date or a group of friends and watch the movie together while enjoying pizza and popcorn. Registration is required.

Youth programs include special weekly Wednesday afternoons starting at 3 p.m.: Anime Club (1st Wednesday – Feb. 2); Crafternoon for Tweens/Teens (2nd Wednesday – Feb. 9); Lego Club (3rd Wednesday – Feb. 16); and Game Day (4th Wednesday – Feb. 23). Registration is highly recommended. Dungeons & Dragons continue to meet every Friday at 3 p.m. Story times continue on Tuesdays at 6 p.m. and Fridays at 10:30 a.m. No registration required.
