MILAA sponsors Alumni Loyalty Cup

MEREDITH ― The Meredith/Inter-Lakes Alumni Association is proud to sponsor the coveted Alumni Loyalty Cup, a tradition since 1928. This award goes to a member of the senior class, selected by the faculty, who has been a member of Inter-Lakes High School for at least two full years, ranks in the upper half of the class as shown by their scholastic record and whose record of loyalty to the school organization, wholesome character and initiative meets the ideals of Inter-Lakes High School. This award is a great honor and recipients are held in high esteem.

Thea Wright, the 2026 recipient, was an active student, participating in band, chorus, math team, Destination Imagination, Future Business Leaders of America, track and field and soccer. She also made time to volunteer for the Altrusa Club of Meredith at their monthly Community Dinners and Library book sale set-ups. In her words, ”these activities, along with my work in the classroom, helped me realize I have a passion for finance.” This fall, Wright will be attending Saint Anselm College pursuing her goal as a financial planner and ultimately helping others achieve their personal financial goals.
