GILFORD — The public is invited to attend a Bipartisan Candidates Forum for those candidates who are seeking to be elected as a NH Representative for Belknap County District 6 which includes Gilford, Gilmanton, and Ward 2, Laconia.
Free and open to the public, the Bipartisan Candidates Forum will be held on Thursday, October 20, 7 to 9 p.m. with doors opening at 6:30 at the Gilford Community Church, 19 Potter Hill Road.
Light refreshments will be served.
At the Forum, Democrat, Republican, and Independent Candidates for NH Representatives listed on the General Election ballot in November District 6 will have the opportunity to share their views on important local issues with voters.
Gilford Community Church is sponsoring the forum as a public community service. The moderator will be Liz Tentarelli, president of the League of Women Voters of New Hampshire.
Audience members will have an opportunity to submit questions in writing on the evening of the event.
Rev. Michael Graham, GCC pastor, said, “We're really excited to hold this Bipartisan Candidates Forum for voters here in Gilford. As a 501(c)(3) non- profit church, we encourage nonpartisan discussions around local issues, and do not recommend or endorse candidates.”
