WOLFEBORO — Makers Mill is preparing for its 2026 Upcycled Fashion Show with a series of sewing classes this month designed to support both runway designers and community members looking to strengthen their sewing skills.

Designers are now invited to register for the April runway show, and several upcoming workshops are designed specifically to help participants refine garments and accessories made from repurposed materials. Finishing and Embellishment Skills for Upcycled Fashion is on Saturday, March 21 from 9 a.m. to noon, featuring appliqué, snaps, eyelets, trim application, and decorative details.

Additional classes open to all include 5 Ways to Hem on Sunday, March 22 from 1 to 4 p.m., and Sewing 101 on Wednesday, April 1 from 6 to 9 p.m., an introduction for beginners.

Do you love turning old materials into something new? Designers can register an entry in the show at makersmill.org/designer.

The 2026 Upcycled Fashion Show will take place Sunday, April 26 at 2:30 p.m. at the Kingswood Arts Center in Wolfeboro. For tickets and full show details, visit makersmill.org/upcycled.
