FRANKLIN — The Franklin Historical Society, in partnership with the Franklin Public Library, is proud to acknowledge and celebrate this country’s 250th year by presenting, “Red Coats and Rebels, New Hampshire and the American Revolution,” on Thursday, Aug. 6, at 7 p.m.
This presentation is made possible through a grant from the state’s “Humanities To Go” Program, to which both organizations are grateful and deeply indebted to New Hampshire Humanities. The speaker is the NH Historical Society’s museum educator Mary Adams, who has been giving this talk throughout the state, and is now offering it here in Franklin.
The event is free and open to all in the upstairs meeting room of the library, located at 310 Central St. The meeting space is air conditioned, and ADA compliant. Light refreshments will follow, and all attendees are encouraged to submit their audience evaluations via the QR code linked to the audience evaluation.
