Bristol-area voters can hear from 2026 candidates at forum

BRISTOL — With the November election approaching, Bristol-area voters will have an opportunity to hear directly from candidates seeking state and local office at a Candidates Forum presented by the Minot-Sleeper Library Board of Trustees on Wednesday, Oct. 7, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Bristol Old Town Hall.

The moderated forum will give candidates an opportunity to introduce themselves and respond to prepared questions on issues important to the community. Each participating candidate will have two minutes to introduce themselves and two minutes to respond to each question, giving voters an opportunity to hear directly from those seeking elected office.

The event is a moderated forum, not a debate. Candidates will respond to questions individually, with no direct candidate-to-candidate exchanges.

The Candidates Forum is a non-partisan event open to the public and provides an opportunity for community members to hear directly from candidates before the November election.
