BRISTOL — The town of Bristol Sustainability Committee will hold its 2nd annual "Clean Up Bristol Day" on Saturday, Sept. 24, by the band shell at Kelley Park on North Main Street in Bristol, between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Families, friends, individuals, community groups, businesses and others are encouraged to participate.
"Clean up Bristol Day" is a chance for people of all ages to come together for a common good. Cleaning up the town helps to improve the public spaces that everyone enjoys. It creates a sense of pride in the community. Over 40 bags of trash was collected last year.
Members of the Sustainability Committee will be handing out trash bags and gloves as well as fruit to provide energy throughout the morning. Volunteers will be able to choose the location in town they wish to clean. Don’t forget to bring water in a re-usable bottle.
Find the event listed on our facebook page Sustainable Bristol or on the town web page under Sustainability. Questions email sustainability@townofbristolnh.org.
