LACONIA — Bonnette, Page & Stone Corp. partnered with Binnie Media’s 98.7 FRANK-FM radio station as a sponsor for their annual Caring and Sharing Canned Food drive last month.

In its 21st year, Caring and Sharing serves the Seacoast as the largest canned food drive. The event collects canned goods and other non-perishable items and cash donations to support 22 local food banks and charities on the Seacoast and in Southern Maine.

The three-day event wrapped up on Nov. 23. Through the event, 22 food pantries received 240 boxes of food, or approximately 13,000 food items. The fundraising tally was over $11,000 in cash, checks and gift card donations. The cash donations will be turned into Hannaford giftcards and distributed to food pantries.
