GILFORD — Travis P. Cole has been named Realtor of the Year by the Lakes Region Board of Realtors. The 2022 awardee, Doug Rollins, presented the recognition to Cole in June at the board's quarterly meeting.
Rollins explained that the selection is made after considering the records of many contenders for the honor based on their contributions to the community and the conduct of business reflecting the code of ethics of the National Association of Realtors.
Originally from Maine, Cole moved to the Lakes Region and joined the real estate profession in the early 2000s. He is a valued member of the community as a member of the Lakes Region Rotary Club, the Lakes Region Chamber of Commerce, and he's on the Board of Trustees at the Taylor Community, Inc. He is a past president of the Lakes Region Board of Realtors and is currently instrumental in training new members as part of the Education Committee.
The Lakes Region Board of Realtors will submit the name and record of their Realtors of the Year in the New Hampshire Association of Realtors statewide competition for the State Realtors of the Year, in which all board annual awardees are recognized at an awards ceremony in September.
Cole is the managing broker of RE/MAX Innovative Bayside offices in Meredith and Laconia, and lives in Gilford with his wife, Michelle, and two children.
