Craig Stuart Walton, 69, of Center Harbor, passed away at Concord Hospital-Laconia on Nov. 12, 2025, following an extended illness.

Born Nov. 28, 1955, in Norristown, Pennsylvania, Craig was a longtime resident of New Hampshire, after settling in Meredith, in 1982. Over the years Craig was especially fond of boating and snowmobiling with friends around the Lake Winnipesaukee area.

The second child of his late parents, John Sydney Walton and Claire Platt Walton, Craig graduated from Eisenhower High School in Norristown in 1973, before earning his degree in physical therapy from the University of Pittsburgh as part of the Class of 1977. During his working years, Craig provided PT services to clients in their homes and senior living centers and most recently at the NH Veterans Home in Tilton. He was a partner with his brother in establishing Walton Physical Therapy Associates, an outpatient PT office at the Interlakes Medical Center in Meredith.

Craig is survived by his son Eric; his former wife and mother of his son, Catherine James; his brother, Steve Walton, and sister-in-law Nancy Walton; his sister, Barbara Walton Spowart; as well as several nieces and a nephew.

Craig will be deeply missed by his family and friends, who will remember his sense of humor and fun-loving attitude.

A private family remembrance of Craig will be held at a later date.
