To The Daily Sun,
Recently, Planned Parenthood New Hampshire Action Fund compiled five key votes on reproductive rights bills so members of the public could better understand where their state representatives stand on reproductive rights and healthcare and abortion access.
Representatives who cast at least three votes and voted with PPNHAF on every vote they participated in scored 100%. Representatives, 166 in total, made the list by voting in support of reproductive rights and healthcare with few (or no) absences; 164 Democrats and two Republicans.
One hundred and eighty-five representatives scored 0%, voting against reproductive rights and health care every time they cast a vote: 185 Republicans and 0 Democrats. Rep. Barbara Comtois and Rep. Paul Terry are in this group. Rep. Peter Varney only had only one vote cast (of the five scored).
There are so many other pressing issues that Granite Staters care about. But if readers also care about reproductive healthcare, it is clearly time for a change. Be sure to vote for Democrats Nancy Mitchell, Laura Dunham, and Stephen Copithorne on Nov. 3.
