The Laconia-Gilford Lion’s Club has a long-standing history of supporting Belknap House, and most recently, the Lion’s Club was a putting contest sponsor at Belknap House’s 12th annual golf tournament. In addition, the Lion’s Club provided a generous donation toward the Belknap House’s mission. Belknap House “furnishes a service which is very necessary and shelter for families has never been more important to support than now," said Matt Soza, Lion’s Club president. The mission of Belknap House is to provide safe shelter to families with children experiencing homelessness in Belknap County. They empower families to become self-sufficient and independent by providing education opportunities and access to community resources. To learn more about Belknap House, visit Belknaphouse.org.
