To The Daily Sun,

Last week the traffic on Union Avenue was at a stand still while the cars lined up for their “free turkeys.” Now my question becomes, how does someone justify sitting in their sport utility vehicle, drinking premium brand double mocha lattes coffee while gabbing on their cell phone, while they wait for their free turkey? Seems to me if they can afford all those other things they can afford to put away $0.50 a week for a turkey on Thanksgiving and Christmas. This is unfair for people who are really in need while the greedy take the free offerings.

By the way, I am not the only who feels that this is a gross distortion of what the program was set out to be for the needy.
