To The Daily Sun,
Mike Bordes has contributed to Laconia as a state representative and mayor of Laconia. Over the years in which he has been active in state and local government, Bordes has taken on matters of public safety, economic development, local services, and infrastructure among others.
One of the highlights of Mike Bordes’ public service is the backing he has given to first responders. Good local government requires close cooperation between the elected leaders and first responders such as police officers, firefighters, EMS personnel, and those from emergency management. For the duration of his public service, Bordes has acknowledged the importance of first responders to the security and well-being of citizens.
In the process of participating in state and local government, Bordes has become aware of how state and local policies, budgeting and regulation impact people. Local government officials are required to weigh all options carefully and deliver necessary services to the taxpaying citizens in an appropriate way.
Those who must evaluate the performance of the candidates for public office can take note of the experience of each of the candidates. There are many new names on the ballot but only one is a proven established leader. Mike Bordes is that proven leader and has spent years working for Laconia residents. Please vote for him on Nov. 3.
