I'd like to know when an open and transparent government had to result in punitive actions and public displays against city councilors.
The word salad in the mayor's letter though is unneeded.
The mayor and his merry men are still melting down over a possible solution to homelessness in the City of Laconia. Yes. They are still talking about something that never made it past simple research and planning.
I actually had the foresight to put together a sub-committee full of mental health and religious leaders and professional builders to deal with zoning and safety challenges. Did I fail? Yes. The biggest opposition to dealing with the issue are still calling them "fraud pods" as if we are still in elementary school.
In the next two years I can only hope that there are responsible independents, moderate Republicans, and Democrats who want to oppose the mayor's vindictive behaviors and run against him.
They'll have my vote.
