To The Daily Sun,
For the past two years, I have had the honor of representing the citizens of Gilmanton, Gilford, and Ward 2 of Laconia, as state representative. I promised to bring sensibility to Concord by representing the needs of all New Hampshire citizens and that is what I have done. I outlined an ambitious list of priorities, and I am proud to say I have addressed all of them.
By providing the leadership needed to bring diverse, multi-stakeholder groups together, I have been able to successfully address complex social policy issues such as:
- Managing the opioid crisis through the Opioid Abatement Fund by creating first-in-the-nation policies
 - Creating nationally recognized programs to support the needs of those in pain
 - Improving access to health care for all
 - Lowering health care costs by lowering barriers to care by creating unique prior authorization and electronic medical record reforms
 - Standing up to corporate health care providers by empowering independent, private medical practitioners of all types
 - Creating a nationally recognized model of integrative health care
 - Addressing the physical and mental health needs of all New Hampshire residents
 - Creating responsible medicinal cannabis policy
 - Supporting access to care for women with high-risk pregnancies
 - Addressing the needs of New Hampshire’s Native Americans

It is my hope that we can convince voters of the value and sincerity of our cause and continue to promote sensibility in New Hampshire government and empower those without a voice.
On Sept. 10, I ask for votes in the Republican Primary Election to help me continue this important work.
