To The Daily Sun,
Thanks to the candidates that came to the local forums this past week. It was gratifying to feel that local voices were heard. One question that always comes up is, "Would an official vote for a broad based tax?” In this state, a "yes" reply is close to political suicide. A better question I have is: If there was a broad based tax in New Hampshire, how would it be spent? The questions from the other evenings illustrated the issues facing New Hampshire residents. Perhaps this question could help define the priority of each candidate.
