To The Daily Sun,

A lot of language in Michael Breen's letter runs in place. Where does it finally arrive? He wants to rally the forces to believe bad things about Connecticut's Attorney General William Tong. What Breen doesn't like is "illegal aliens unlawfully settled in our country for corrupt political gain."

Attorney General Tong is the son of a refugee, Asian. He's a former state assemblyman (elected) and attorney general since 2019. His work record includes making OxyContin-maker Purdue Pharma fork over $6 billion to families and states over the opioid crisis. Now he's part of a "multi-state lawsuit against Meta that accuses the social media company of developing features that deliberately hook children on its platforms." Good public employee, Tong.

Breen opines on "power-grasping political chaos." He writes that, and President Donald Trump's disdain for law and our Constitution come to mind. Someone "bent on destroying America's rule of law?" That would be President Trump and his unqualified, loyal-to-him appointees.

Reality check: Our way of life, our democracy, both are endangered.
