LACONIA — Susan Marie Weeks, 48, known affectionately as Susie, Sue, and Suzy Q, passed away on Oct. 14, 2025, at Concord Hospital-Concord.

Susan was born on July 16, 1977. She was a soul with a heart of gold. Those lucky enough to cross her path knew she would always give everything she had — often before thinking of herself. Her kindness extended to all living things, yes, even animals, who were cherished and spoiled by her, whether they were hers or not. She especially loved and spoiled her dog, Lincoln.

Susan didn't have an ordinary life. Her struggles were real and deep — but so was her light. Despite the weight she carried, you could count on her infectious smile. Susan loved deeply, and made sure everyone she met felt loved, seen, and heard. She was deeply loved by her family, and her passing leaves a significant void in the hearts of all who knew her.

She was the beloved daughter of Debby Bourdeau and Leslie B. Weeks Jr., and a cherished sister to Lori Morrill and her husband Dan, brothers Arthur Weeks, Michael Weeks, and Charles Wallace, and adopted sister Alyssa Bickford. Susan shared a loving partnership with her girlfriend, Karen, and was a devoted “Pops” to her son, Dominick Mekkelsen, who meant the world to her. She also leaves many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
