PLYMOUTH — Plymouth is one of thousands communities across the nation planning peaceful protests for Saturday, Oct. 18, as part of the “No Kings” movement.
“No Kings” is planned as a national day of nonviolent action and mass mobilization, similar to the first event in June that drew more than five million participants, according to ACLU estimates.
Organized by Central NH Indivisible, the march will begin on North Main Street, and continue with a demonstration on the common from 9 to 11 a.m. Everyone who can walk 0.4 miles will meet at the Plymouth Armory parking lot between 8:30 and 8:50 a.m., when safety marshals will oversee the march to the Town Common. Non-marchers are welcome to join downtown.
