Peter James Montembeault was born Aug. 10, 1960, in Franklin, and passed away Oct. 8, 2025, in Concord.Â
Growing up in Lochmere, he was a graduate of Winnisquam Regional High School in 1978.
He had great interest in cars and motorcycles. He won the Plymouth Troubleshooters Contest locally, and then competed at the National Competition Level in Kansas City, taking third place.
He went on to obtain certification as a master mechanic, working in several automotive garages in the Lakes Region, including Belknap Repair in Belmont.
Peter is survived by his father Richard Montembeault, his stepmother Brenda Wing-Clarke and stepsiblings Vickie McAtee, Diana Currier and Randy McAtee. He is also survived by his mother Linda Montembeault, his brothers Steve (Tammy) and Rick (Maria) Montembeault, and his sisters Kathy (Bruce) Hawkins, and Jennifer (Joe) Burns. Peter leaves his daughters Lindsey Montembeault, Jackie (Greg) Wider, Melody (her mom Bernice) and stepdaughter Deena Dumaine. He will be missed by so many people in family and friends.
There will be no calling hours or services per Pete's plan. A small gathering will be at a later date.
The family is grateful for the love and support given to Peter during this difficult time and asks in lieu of flowers people consider making donations in Peter’s name to the Hospice House, by sending to Granite VNA, 30 Pillsbury St., Concord, NH 03301, or granitevna.org.
