Len Hanley: Burn dangerous Halloween decorations cursed by the occult

Christians, there is nothing that can make Halloween participation or celebration acceptable to God or Jesus Christ. If we take part in it, how is that going to make others want to be a Christian? If we declare it to be sinful and evil, which it undeniably is according to the Bible, why celebrate and participate along with the occultists and the atheists who mock us constantly? Just to be popular with the world?

Instead, stand against Halloween. Don't participate in it or celebrate it, and be ready to tell people why. Pray against it and for those who do take part. Do not buy any Halloween merchandise. Do not decorate with it. Throw away what you do have or burn it. According to the Bible, cursed items should be burnt. You find examples in Deuteronomy 7:25-26, Deuteronomy 12:2-3,1 Kings 15:13, Acts 19:19 and Exodus 32:20. How much more could the Halloween items be cursed objects? Don't you think those in the occult put curses on them or laugh when we celebrate their religious holiday with them?

The Bible says to expose such things for what they are (Ephesians 5:11), not join in. Halloween celebrates and glorifies fear, violence, death and horror. This during Respect Life Month? The Halloween catalogs sent to our homes and what they sell in stores alone proves this. Yet many will still justify taking part in it by saying it is "harmless fun" when it isn't. Halloween is spiritually and physically dangerous and can even be deadly for those who choose to take part in it. Why would we, as Christians, spend our money to celebrate, support or participate in something like that? Wouldn't you be ashamed for Jesus to see you doing it if he came to visit you? Isn't what he thinks more important to us than what people think?
