Kathleen Anderson: Amber Schaefer running to represent Center Harbor

The citizens of New Hampton and Center Harbor have a wonderful candidate running for state representative in November — one who is New Hampshire through and through. Please let me introduce Amber Schaefer, a local girl who grew up here, went to Plymouth State for her undergraduate degree and earned her clinical doctorate in physical therapy at Franklin Pierce University, Amber is raising two children here, and is committed to serving District 1’s citizens with diligence and un-common sense.

Amber works in healthcare, and daily she sees the struggles folks are having affording good healthcare. She cares deeply about supporting childcare initiatives for working families, providing solid education to our kids, and keeping New Hampshire’s beautiful environment safe for generations to come.

As I have gotten to know Amber, I have been impressed with her steadfast determination to serve her neighbors. Many people who run for office are great talkers. Amber is a great listener.
