To The Daily Sun,
After numerous inquiries as to whether I had been successful in the recent Primary Election, I felt the need to share my results, as published reports did not include write-in candidates.
I needed 35 write-in votes and received 336. I also garnered 25 write-in votes on the Republican ballot which reflect my centrist, common sense views for our city and county. These votes were spread across all five wards.
I am so grateful for all those that took the time to write me in, held signs, and supported me through my website hildreth4nh.com in the Primary Election.
I am working diligently and canvassing throughout the city in advance of the General Election on Nov. 5.
I will be attending a candidate meet and greet at The Flip Side in downtown Laconia on Sept. 28, at 8 a.m. to answer any questions on the many issues facing our city and state.
I will also be participating in the bipartisan candidates forum to be held at the Belknap Mill on Thursday, Oct. 10, from 7 to 9 p.m., and look forward to meeting voters at these venues.
