Mike Bordes is the right person for Belknap County District 5. He has been in the New Hampshire House since 2020 and now serves as mayor of Laconia too. That mix gives him a sense of how state rules hit local places.
His votes go against new taxes and toward cuts for businesses. It seems like he sticks with balanced budgets most of the time. Funding for addiction programs and mental health comes up along with support for voluntary family leave options.
Endorsements have come from governors and many public safety advocates such as the Professional Firefighters of New Hampshire, New Hampshire Police Association and many others. He is the most qualified person to represent us in Concord.
