To The Daily Sun,

On Nov. 3, I encourage my Lakes Region neighbors to reelect Sen. Tim Lang in District 2.

Tim isn't someone who shows up in October and disappears after the election. His roots here run deep. Long before Concord, he served on the Winnisquam school board and Sanbornton's budget committee, chaired the zoning board, and has been Sanbornton's town moderator for more than a decade. Before that, he spent 12 years in local law enforcement. He knows our towns because he's spent years serving them.

What stands out most is how easy he is to reach. Call or email Tim, and folks get Tim. He listens, he follows up, and he never makes them feel like they're bothering him.

That matters most with our veterans. When issues that affect them come up in the Senate, Tim takes the time to listen to veterans first. He treats them with real kindness and compassion, without judgment or arrogance, and he carries what he hears into how he votes. That's exactly what we should expect from the people we send to Concord.

We need more people like Tim in Concord: grounded, approachable, and still the same person he was before he took office. Please vote to reelect Senator Tim Lang.
