This letter is to bring attention to the pile of leftover wood materials and metal roofing from building the new dugout at the baseball field at Prescott Park in Meredith. It has been there since last winter, along with a bunch of plywood sheets leaned up next to the dugout. Some of the wood is still useable, but won't be if left out for another winter.
The pile is practically in the path, with sharp metal roofing on top, which could be hazardous to people or animals if they slipped or fell, or if covered in snow and stepped on unaware.
I'm not sure who is responsible, and I'm willing to help, but it would be nice to get it cleaned up before the snow flies, and some of the materials are still usable, but probably not after another season exposed to the elements.
