To The Daily Sun,

On behalf of the Prospect Mountain Wrestling Team of Alton, we wanted to extend our deepest gratitude to Scott Reed and the entire Wrestling Federation of America organization.

This past Saturday night, a number of our wrestlers, along with Assistant Coach Steve McGranaghan and myself, had the privilege of attending an event at The Zoo in Concord. The entire evening was a tremendous success and a highly memorable experience for the team.

The hospitality shown by the crew and the wrestlers was truly exceptional. Our student-athletes thoroughly enjoyed the concessions, getting a chance to meet the talented performers, and engaging in some lively heckling of the villains in the ring.

This outing served as an incredible opportunity for our team to bond and build essential relationships just prior to the start of our season. Assistant Coach McGranaghan and I prioritize creating a strong, cohesive unit, and this event provided the perfect mix of fun and shared excitement that is crucial for team communication and getting to know one another.

We also want to acknowledge the efforts of Glenn Lamper, the Alton Central School custodian, who has been a great supporter of our program and introduced us to the WFA. He knew this would be a fantastic experience for the kids, and he was absolutely right.

Our wrestlers are now more eager than ever to begin their season and have already asked about the possibility of visiting the WFA again. They especially wanted me to convey that they were all huge fans of Shawn Nyte and hope to see him back in the ring soon.

We sincerely appreciate your generosity and the time everyone at WFA took to make this such a positive and inspiring night for our young athletes.

Derek Pappaceno, Head Coach
