Minion Bots qualify for State Championship

The Inter-Lakes Elementary School Minion Bots (LEGO Robotics Team), competed at the North Country FIRST LEGO League Qualifier on Saturday, Nov. 22. The team tied for third place overall and received the Core Values Champion Award, which recognizes exceptional teamwork, inclusion, and sportsmanship. Students presented their Innovation Project on cave exploration safety, built and programmed their robot for mission challenges, and showcased all their hard work from the season. In true FIRST LEGO League spirit, they also had a great time dancing with other teams and celebrating a teammate's birthday. The Minion Bots advanced to the NH State Championship on Dec. 6 at Bedford High School, where they competed alongside 50 top teams from across the state. (Courtesy photo)
