To The Daily Sun,

My name is Bob MacLeod and I respectfully ask New Hampshire Electric Co-operative members to reelect me and Bill Darcy to the board of directors. Over time, we have worked to keep costs under control while maintaining rates that have remained below inflation. That progress matters to families, seniors, farms, and small businesses who depend on affordable electricity every day.

We also believe NHEC must continue taking a balanced approach to energy policy. Renewable energy has an important role to play, but we should not rely on any single solution. Our responsibility is to keep costs down and work hard to provide reliable electricity for members throughout our service territory, especially in a time when affordability and dependability are both essential.

Finally, we remain strongly committed to NH Broadband, powered by New Hampshire Electric Co-operative, and to the reliable infrastructure that has expanded high-speed internet access to members across rural New Hampshire, including many areas that previously had little or no dependable service. This investment is helping close the digital divide and strengthen the future of our communities. I would be honored to have readers vote for me, Bob MacLeod, and Bill Darcy. Thanks for the support.
