To the editor,
This is my formal notification that effective immediately I have withdrawn my candidacy for office in the state Legislature.
I have been called out of semi-retirement and will be out of the country for a substantial period of time. My activities at this time prohibit me from running for the state Legislature, including electioneering and campaigning.
The Attorney General’s office informs me that my name can not be removed from the ballot, therefore please note that I am NOT RUNNING for public office this year for professional reasons.
I wish to thank all my supporters for their loyalty, encouragement and assistance. This has been a difficult decision to make.
I whole heartedly support the passage of SB-2 and will be campaigning for this important "change".
