Guns aren't going anywhere; accept it & look for solutions elsewhere

The school shooting in Florida was another terrible crime which has become ever more common and this one was preventable making it all the worse. The FBI was given plenty of warning and from a number of reports, if reports are accurate. This of course have brought out the anti-gun chores for "sensible gun control?" Thing is, they can't describe what that is! They say things like close the gun show loophole, but there is no such thing. Every gun sold at a gun show, anywhere, is through a licenced dealer and every sale must pass the federal instant check. Then there is the false claim that guns can be purchased over the internet. Yes, but those guns must pass through a licensed dealer on both ends and the buyer still must pass the check. Anti-gun people keep making up problems that do not exist. What they really want is to end private gun ownership itself. Not going to happen, folks.

Bernadette Loesch says Japan doesn't have this problem because they have no guns in private hands. True, but Japan is not America. For instance, Japan is a centuries-old monolithic, authoritarian society. They might allow some foreigners to live there but those people can never become a citizen, nor can their children be born there. They cannot own a house or property nor can they vote. Shall we adopt those laws, too, Bernadette? Might solve the DACA problem, say what?

Alan Vervaeke says Republicans should care about kids, to which I say liberals might consider safe schools and an end to the gun-free zones, which attract nuts like ants to sugar. Alan, guns aren't going anywhere; settle your mind on that and start thinking of some realistic solutions if your critical thinking mind can handle that.

Natt King blames the NRA. Well, bet you the shooter was not a member. Besides, get serious, the fault lies with that shooter primarily and the FBI secondarily. Swallowing the left's tactic of blaming someone or something other then those responsible isn't good for anything but detracting noise. As I mentioned above, guns are going nowhere, nor is the NRA.

Marty Valengavich is critical of the poor background security checks for White House aides. I agree, they should have done a much better job. I'm also critical of the work of the FBI, Justice Dept. overlooking the obvious crimes committed by Hillary Clinton, the great overreach of presidential authority buy President Obama, the Russian collusion between those people and attempted frame up of President Trump. Maybe Marty might consider putting his own house in order before throwing rocks exclusively at his neighbors?
