A Belknap County Grand Jury has returned indictments charging two men with a violent home invasion and assault that left an alleged victim severely injured.

Daniel Goodliff, 32, of Claremont, is charged with burglary and first degree assault with a deadly weapon, both felonies.

Nathaniel Kennett, 34, of Concord, faces felony charges of burglary, conspiracy, first degree assault with a deadly weapon, and second degree assault with a deadly weapon with bodily injury.

The charges result from an incident on May 17, during which, the state alleges, Kennett and Goodliff broke into a camper, which was being used as a residence parked on a property on Winona Road in Center Harbor, and assaulted someone inside. The assault, allegedly with blunt instruments, left their target with broken bones, a fractured skull and lacerations.

Attempts to reach attorneys listed in court documents as representing Kennett and Goodliff were not successful.
