Democrats from across New Hampshire came together at the Sheraton Nashua, last month, for the New Hampshire Democratic Party’s annual McIntyre-Shaheen 100 Club Dinner. The event connects party and elected leaders with supporters, along with appearances from state and federal representatives. This year, the dinner honored retiring Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH), who's served since 2009, with keynote remarks from former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton. The 100 Club Dinner was founded in 1959, to support the candidacy of John F. Kennedy for president. Since 2010, the dinner has honored the work of Shaheen and Sen. Tom McIntyre. At the April 25 dinner — competing with the White House Correspondents' Dinner in D.C., which was abruptly postponed after a shooting took place there — other speakers included Rep. Chris Pappas (D-NH), former Granite State Gov. John Lynch, and Sen. Maggie Hassan (D-NH), with a video message from Rep. Maggie Goodlander (D-NH).
