On the opening day of the filing period for town elections, Dennis Doten, who chairs the Board of Selectmen, filed his candidacy for a third term while two challengers joined him in the race, Gus Benavides and Joe Hoffman, who also filed for Treasurer.
Bill Phillips, who has served on the Budget Committee since he was appointed in 1999, will seek another term.
Incumbent Fire Engineer Phil Brouillard filed for re-election and will be challenged by a former member of the board, Ken Kneuer.
Polly Sanfacon, longtime member and chairperson of the Board of Library Trustees filed for re-election.
The filing period close on February 2 at 5 p.m.
