LACONIA — City police are investigating a possible road rage incident involving a firearm that may have occurred sometime around 10:30 p.m. Saturday night.
According to Laconia Police logs, a criminal threatening call was reported as having occurred at 10:27 p.m. near Main and South Main Streets.
At 10:34 p.m. Gilford Police were given a dispatch warning about someone who could be on Country Club Road near Route 11A who could be armed and dangerous.
Capt. Bill Clary of the Laconia Police said the investigation is active and ongoing and that they received some assistance from the Gilford Police Department.
Lt. Kris Kelley of the Gilford Police said yesterday that his department detained someone from an incident that happened in Laconia around 10:30 p.m. and he or she was turned over to the Laconia Police.
Both departments said they can't release any additional information at this time but if anyone has any information, they should call the Laconia Police at 524-5252.
