Local educators and support staff unite to serve community

Members of the Laconia Education Association and The Education Assistants of Laconia recently came together in a shared effort to give back to the community by volunteering at Hands Across the Table, a local organization dedicated to providing meals and support to those in need. Volunteers from both organizations came together on multiple occasions to work side by side to serve meals, demonstrating a strong commitment not only to their students but to the broader community they serve everyday. The collaboration between EAL and LEA highlights the shared values that unite educators across roles. While their work within schools is essential, opportunities like this reinforce their dedication to supporting the whole community. Hands Across the Table continues to play a vital role in bringing people together and ensuring that all members of the community have access to a warm meal and a welcoming environment.
