Will Survivor 51 have returning players?

The cast will be announced at a later time. Season 50 marked the first returning players season since Season 40, the show’s longest stint without bringing back former competitors. Probst told TV Insider that the next returning-player season could come soon.

“Our last all-returning player season was [six] years ago with Winners at War,” Probst told us before the Survivor 50 finale. “I know that can feel like a long time, but we have done a lot of returning-player seasons, and it was important to build a strong new bench of talent,” Probst said. “I think we’ve done that. So yes, I’d say the chances are very good that you’ll see more returning players sooner rather than later on Survivor!”

Is Survivor 51 filming?

Filming on Survivor 51 ended in May 2026.
