When Fox returns for its 2026-2027 season, Sundays won’t just be for animated shows.

Animal Control is moving to join the Sunday night lineup, it was revealed with Fox’s fall 2026 schedule. It joins The SimpsonsUniversal Basic Guys, and Grimsburg.

As Dan Harrison, Executive Vice President of Program Planning and Content Strategy, FOX Entertainment, told reporters, that makes the night “an even stronger comedy lineup for Fox.” Added Michael Thorn, President of FOX Television Network, “Moving Animal Control to Sunday night gives that show a great opportunity for success. It’s a very important show for us, we own and distribute it, and tonally we think it can fit in and build further upon the success it’s had at Fox and Hulu and most recently on Netflix.”

Fox’s returning series include dramas Doc (Season 3, with Blair Underwood joining), Memory of a Killer (Season 2), and Murder in a Small Town (Season 3, with Peter Gallagher joining); comedies Animal Control (Season 5) and Best Medicine (Season 2); and animated series American Dad! (Season 21), Bob’s Burgers (Season 17), Family Guy (Season 25), Grimsburg (Season 3), Krapopolis (Season 4), Universal Basic Guys (Season 3), and The Simpsons (Season 38).

On the unscripted side, the following have been renewed: Beat Shazam (Season 8), Celebrity Name That Tune (Season 6), Celebrity Weakest Link (Season 2), Crime Scene Kitchen (Season 4), Don’t Forget the Lyrics (Season 4),  Extracted (Season 3), Fear Factor: House of Fear (Season 2), The Floor (Seasons 6 and 7), Gordon Ramsay‘s Secret Service (Season 2), Hell’s Kitchen (Seasons 25 and 26), Kitchen Nightmares (Season 3), LEGO Masters (Season 6), The Masked Singer (Season 15), Next Level Baker (Seasons 2 and 3), Next Level Chef (Season 6), 99 to Beat (Season 2), and Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test (Season 5).

Fox will debut new dramas Baywatch and The Interrogator in the midseason. Also returning in the midseason are: Memory of a Killer, Murder in a Small Town, American Dad!, Bob’s Burgers, Family Guy, Krapopolis, Crime Scene Kitchen, Don’t Forget the Lyrics, Extracted, Fear Factor: House of Fear, Gordon Ramsay’s Secret Service, LEGO Masters, The Masked Singer, MasterChef, and Next Level Chef.

“Our 2026-27 slate reflects what FOX does best — putting creative first with distinctive, returnable series and bold, character-driven storytelling,” said Rob Wade, CEO of FOX Entertainment. “With a strong foundation of returning hits and a carefully curated pipeline of new original series, we’re building a lineup designed to connect with broad audiences, drive performance in both the U.S. and around the world, and bring the consistency, scale, and momentum that position us strongly for the year ahead.”

Fox also already has two series set for the 2027-2028 season: an all-new Highway to Heaven and Family Guy spinoff Stewie.
