MEREDITH — William "Dollar" "Will" James Robinson III passed away on Nov. 17, 2025, at the age of 47.
Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, on Jan. 12, 1978, Will grew up surrounded by the love of his parents, Lita and Bill Robinson, and the companionship of his brother and best friend, Anthony "AJ" Robinson Sr., and his baby brother Austin, Alongside many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
For the past 15 years, Will and his brother AJ made their home in and around Meredith. It was here that Will met and married the love of his life, Mary, and together they welcomed their daughter, Aubreigh Jamese, in 2014, with their son, William James IV, soon following in 2016, completing their beautiful family.
Will was a friendly face to so many and a source of laughter to all who knew him. His goal in life was simple yet powerful: to make people smile. With his unforgettable humor, bright smile, and his absolute one of-a-kind personality, Will always had a way of making everyone around him laugh. Though he faced his own battles, he tried to meet the world with kindness and a generous heart. Those who knew him will remember his jokes, his warmth, and the genuine love he held for his family and friends — and especially his children, in whom he took so much pride.
Will is survived by his wife, Mary; his children, Aubreigh and William IV "Liam"; his father, William "Bill" Robinson Jr.; his brothers, Anthony "AJ" Robinson Sr. and Austin Robinson; his nephew, Anthony Robinson Jr.; and his nieces Alanna and Aaliyah Robinson. He is predeceased by his mother, Lita Robinson; his grandmothers, Vivian Martin and Della Calvin; his grandfathers, William Robinson Sr. and Jerry Rivers; his sister-in-law, Bree Robinson; and many more beloved family members.
Will's spirit will continue to live on in the countless memories he created and in the hearts of all who loved him.
