LACONIA — William James Anderson Jr., of Gilford Avenue, passed away on Sept. 10, 2024.
William was born on Feb. 8, 1953, in Beverly, Massachusetts, the son of William James Anderson Sr. and Adele Myett Anderson.
William worked as a truck driver for Modern Continental up until his retirement. After he retired, he worked part-time as a bouncer at Tower Hill and Broken Spoke. He loved all kinds of music but blues was his favorite. He would frequently travel to see his local favorites live. William was a true patriot and loved his freedom and his country. He was very passionate about the things he enjoyed. William loved spending time with his grandchildren and had a huge heart.
William is survived by his sons Jesse Anderson, of Laconia, and William James Anderson III, of Henrico, Virginia; daughter Rheana Anderson, of Northfield; brother Eric Anderson, of Beverly, Massachusetts; and grandchildren, Avary Anderson, Rowan Dawe, and Josephine Anderson.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
