Sheila M. LaQuire, 71

FRANKLIN — Sheila M. (Orcutt) LaQuire, age 71, loving mother and wife who will forever be 19 in our hearts, passed away Monday, Jan. 4, 2016, at Dartmouth-Hitchcoock Medical Center after a brave battle with cancer.

Daughter of Delores (Drapeau) Keith and Wallace Orcutt, she was born in Dover on Nov. 30, 1944.

Her early life was spent with her grandparents, William and Marion Drapeau of Franklin. She moved to Northfield, where she grew up, after her mother married Charles "Chub" Keith. She attended Tilton-Northfield High School and earned her high school diploma through Franklin Adult Education in 1979.

She married the love of her life on July 4, 1964. Sheila was a stay-at-home mom while she raised her three children and the many others to whom her home was always open.

She was an avid NASCAR and Red Sox fan. She worked for Franklin VNA, Walmart and the Franklin School Hot Lunch Programs.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Rawlind "Joe" LaQuire; brother, Charlie Keith Jr. of Northfield, sisters Nancy Keller of Alaska, Cheryl Keith of Plymouth, and Wallen Orcutt-Foote of Boscwen; children, Rawlind "Chip" LaQuire Jr. and his girlfriend Tina Clingenpeel of Hill, Armond LaQuire of Concord, and Tina and her husband Gary Nelson Sr. of Franklin; grandchildren, Amy Woods, Tammy, Gary and his wife Franchesca, and Katie Nelson; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.

She was predeceased by a brother, Randy Keith in 2005; and a grandson, Joe Nelson in 2014.

Please join the family in a celebration of her life held at her daughter, Tina's, home on Victory Drive in Franklin on Saturday, Jan. 9, starting at noon. All are welcome.
