LACONIA — Rita M. Plummer,78, of 308 Darby Drive, died at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon on Monday, July 14, 2003.
Miss Plummer was born June 24, 1925, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Russell Plummer of New Ipswich.
Miss Plummer received her degree from Boston College and trained at Mass. General Hospital, Boston, Mass. Prior to her move to Briarcrest in Laconia, she resided in New Ipswich, and inStoneham, Mass. with her parents. She worked in Winchester and New Ipswich as a regional Public Health Nurse. To be near her parents during their final illnesses, she worked at the local bank. She was a communicant of St. Joseph Parish, Belmont and was a former Treasurer of the Altar and Rosary Society, a past member of the Laconia Elders Friendship Club and many charitable societies.
There will be no calling hours.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, July 17, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Parish, 96 Main Street, Belmont. Burial will be held at a later date at Sacred Heart Cemetery, New Ipswich.
