Our beloved mother and grandmother Patricia Ruth Tobin, 78, of Silver Springs, Florida, passed away at E.W. & Lucille Cates Hospice House of Ocala, Florida on April 20, 2024, after a brief illness with cancer, surrounded by her loved ones.

Pat was Born in Lebanon, on July 14, 1945, she was the daughter of Gordon and Shirley (Woodward) Morse.

Pat spent her childhood in Lebanon, and married Phillip Tobin in October 1962, and later moved to Northfield. She lived in Northfield for 50 years, and was a snowbird for the last 20 years in Silver Springs, before permanently moving to Florida in the last few years.

She was employed for many years at IPC of Northfield, and Polyclad of Franklin, later getting her certification as a certified nursing assistant. She was employed by the New Hampshire Veterans Home. This was a job she loved and enjoyed working closely with the veterans.

She was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother first and foremost. She especially loved being a Grammy. She was a kind person with a loving heart. She enjoyed chatting and having coffee with her friends. She liked to travel and spend time with her family. She enjoyed the small things in life, like hanging on her front porch and watching the birds with a Coke or recently riding her golf cart through her neighborhood visiting her friends in Florida. She will truly be missed by her friends and family.

Patricia was predeceased by her father Gordon Morse, and her mother Shirley Morse.

Patricia is survived by her husband Phillip Tobin of Silver Springs; her daughters Tina Daniels and her husband Thomas Daniels of Tilton, Sherri Giroux and her husband Thomas Giroux of Harper’s Ferry, West Virginia, and Tammy Edmunds of Tilton; her grandchildren Jennifer, Jeffrey, Jonathan, Tara, Stephanie, Stuart and Stephen; nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; and her brother Clyde Morse of Tennessee. She also leaves behind her best childhood friend and sister-in-law Nancy Aldridge, who has been right by her side and her good friend Betty Bezanson.

A celebration of her life will be announced at a later date.
