RUMNEY — Patricia Ann Langford, 84, of Rumney, passed away peacefully on Sept. 5, 2026, at Speare Memorial Hospital following a brief illness.

Born on Dec. 24, 1941, in McConnelsville, Ohio, Patricia was the daughter of the late George and Frida (Tucker) Watson.

Patricia found joy in the simple pleasures of life and cherished the time she spent with the people and activities she loved. She enjoyed golfing with her golf league, ice fishing, sewing, and, most of all, spending time with her friends.

Patricia leaves behind her five children, Terri Barrington and her significant other Jim Dominic of Sanbornton, Max Langford and his wife Trisha of Rumney, Russell Hood and his wife Carina of Hutchinson Island, Florida, Sherry Diaz of Bradenton, Florida, and Richard Hood and his wife Sally of Ruskin, Florida; brothers Roger Watson of Lakemore, Ohio, and Greg Watson and his wife Linda of Belmont; seven grandchildren, Cody Hood, Ashley Deegan, Christopher Barrington, Kyle Barrington, Rylie Langford, Mark Langford, and Jack Langford; three great-grandchildren; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Patricia was predeceased by her beloved husband, Ralph Terrey Langford, in 2025, as well as her siblings, Jerry Watson, Raymond Watson and Edna Conn.

A celebration of Patricia’s life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, at the Langford residence in Rumney.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you bring pictures or stories of Pat to share.
