CENTER HARBOR — Maryann Leroux, 81, of Center Harbor, passed away peacefully at Concord Hospital in Concord, with her family by her side.

Born on Feb. 21, 1945, in Plymouth, Maryann was the daughter of the late Phillip Dupont and Mary (Durand) Munroe.

Maryann had a deep love for the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, and spending time in nature. She was especially fond of birds and always had a pet bird by her side. In her quieter moments, she enjoyed working on jigsaw puzzles and simply being outdoors.

Maryann is survived by her beloved husband of 63 years, Armand Leroux of Center Harbor; her son, Scott Leroux and his wife Joan of Laconia; her four grandchildren, Nikki Leroux, Scotty Leroux, Stormy Leroux and Copelin Leroux; and her five great-grandchildren, Demitri Holgate, Bailey Roy, Dominic Leroux, Clark Jackman and Nolan Jackman.

In addition to her parents, Maryann was predeceased by her son, Jeffrey Leroux, in 2023; her brother, Gene Dupont, in 2012; and her stepfather, Timothy Munroe, in 1988.

A visitation will be held for Maryann Leroux at Mayhew Funeral Home in Meredith, from 4 to 6 p.m., on Tuesday, Aug. 11, with a graveside service at Riverside Cemetery in Plymouth, following the next day, at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 12.
