TILTON — Kevin Edward Halligan, 43, of Clark Road, passed away on July 6, 2025.

Kevin was born on Jan. 19, 1982, in Towson, Maryland, the son of Edward Halligan and Candis Lamb.

Kevin was the captain of the high school football team and won the state championship in 1999. Kevin completed high school and continued his education to receive an associate’s degree within the culinary arts. He enjoyed fishing, making jewelry, drawing and most of all cooking. He was very creative with the arts.

Kevin loved spending time with his children. He was always supporting their sporting events by sitting on the sidelines and even went as far as coaching his daughters’ basketball teams within the community.

Kevin owned several local restaurants throughout the years. He started his successful career when he took over the Laconia Village Bakery in Laconia. He quickly grew a love for farm-to-table food and started his own restaurant, Local Eatery. Later, Kevin decided to open a butcher shop, Local Provisions, where he enjoyed smoking and dry aging his meats.

Kevin was a ray of sunshine. He lit up the room as soon as he walked in. Kevin was everyone’s friend. He simply just wanted others to be happy and “live a stress-free life.” Kevin’s boisterous laugh and contagious smile will be missed by many.

Kevin is survived by his daughters, Sierra Halligan, Devyn Halligan and Savanah Halligan; son Jameson Halligan; mother of his children, Gillian Halligan; sisters Kelly Halligan and Kristin Halligan; stepbrother Rob Charles; several nieces and nephews; mother Candis Lamb; and stepfather Don Lamb. Kevin is predeceased by his father Edward Halligan and grandparents GG and Gramps.

Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, July 13, in the Carriage House at Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant St., Laconia.
