Jeffrey B. Manter, 54

 

BOSTON — Jeffrey B. Manter, 54, of Newbury Street, passed away suddenly of lung disease at his home on Monday, May 22, 2017, with family by his side.

Jeffrey was born on May 13, 1963, in Laconia, the son of Thomas B. and Gretchen (Fowler) Manter.

He was a graduate of Gilford High School and he attended Northwood Institute in Midland, Michigan. Jeffrey worked for Tufts Medical Center in Boston.

Jeffrey is survived by his two daughters, Megan Manter, and MacKenzie Manter, both of Andover, Massachusetts; a sister, Lisa Harris and her husband Trevor, of Gilford; three nieces, Alexandra, Julia and Olivia, of Gilford; several cousins and his dear friends, who were like family to him, Jim and Cathy Trickey, Bill Hartmann, Justin Beurmann and Matt McGee.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Mark Manter.

There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 31, at 11 a.m. in the family plot in Pine Grove Cemetery, Belknap Mountain Road, Gilford.

For those who wish, the family suggests that memorial donations may be made to VNA Hospice and Palliative Care, 199 Rosewood Drive, Danvers, MA 01923.
